Rare Cannabinoid Dabs Offer Consumers Convenience, Novelty, Quality

Concentrates, or “dabs,” are terpene-rich doses of cannabinoids, made by concentrating the essential compounds from plant material into a potent end product. Dabs are typically consumed via dab rigs, which can be costly, require accessories, and need extensive cleaning—but these new squeezable dabs come in a softgel capsule, eliminating cumbersome gear and cleaning supplies. The softgel’s contents can simply be squeezed out of the capsule onto a vaporizer, bowl or joint.

NOTES

To avoid degradation of cannabinoids and terpenes during the manufacturing process, CBD is Better had to devise custom modifications for precise temperature settings. To fill the softgels, the distillate had to be heated to a viscosity where it would flow—but not so hot that the capsule wouldn’t seal.
